Door Blackout Tape

I noticed a few xB'S at the SEMA show had the black out tape on the front and rear doors removed. Has anyone else done this and if so, how difficult was the tape to take off?

Yeah, quite a few people have done it. Rick (ScionStars) in San Diego has done it, along with other TSW guys.
He said that basically, you just have to peel it all off. It's a pain in the ___, and it takes forever to do, and he said that your fingers are going to be pretty sore afterwards, but it all just peels right off, and there is body-colored pain underneath.

I wouldn't do it on a white Scion, but on camoflage or silver it looks awesome!

On the top the doors, there is a black out tape that goes up around the door frames. A lot of the newer Toyota's such as the Corolla's, the Matrix, and the new 4Runners have it. The xB's I saw at SEMA didn't have it and it looked nice having the whole the same color.

Scionspecalist and i were going to try this out on my car last week but i ended up getting sick and it never got done.....,Ive only seen it done to a black xb has anyone seen it on a thundercloud? How does it look?
