Default What goes well with black?

Yo!

It's time for me to upgrade my wheels! But, I'm in a dilema. I'm not really sure what really goes well with my car. Let me give you some information:

06 BSP xA lowered about an inch and a quarter.
I want to go with 16X7 wheels (could you suggest a tire size?)
I do not want to go bigger than 16, if you please.

Right now I'm rolling on the 15'' Scion split spoke silver rims, but I want something better. I know silver, bronze, and black will go well with black cars, but what about style? I think such small bronze wheels would look hokey, so that's why I'm leaning towards black/gray. I've already got silver so I want to try something different. No. Chrome. Ever.

I've got these Kosei in mind right now, but do they really fit the car?
Click the image to open in full size.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Respectfully,

Chris

I think black should be your best bet.
I really like the Konig Minuz:

Just about anything works with black, red, white, blue greys, chrome, anything!! I prefer chrome or bright wheels with black or maybe black wheels with a polished lip.

Thanks for the input, guys!

I'm really liking those Kosei, and the price is right. My only thing is, they're not exactly black - more like a dark gray. Would that still look good or would it be a gross mis-match and make my baby look like trash?

Thanks again!

R/

I rock powder coated gun metal on my bsp. It also pops and goes great with the car if you have any carbon fiber pieces. check my profile for pics of GM with BSP

I say do black on black or a bronze. Bronze/gold on black is very sexy.

Just pick your favorite and go for it. The sky's the limit with black.

A dark grey or gunmetal will look just as good as black, if not better. Flat black actually isn't pure black--it looks a bit lighter because of the matte surface. Gloss black would match your paint, but I don't like that pure monochrome look. PLEASE DON'T get black with polished rim--that is so played out now.

I like the Koseis. They're a bit too busy for my taste, but don't forget that wheels look totally different when the car's moving.

Most Rota wheels come in different shades of gray. There's gunmetal, steel gray, flat black. If I ever get the money, I'm going to get a set of Circuit 8s in black for my BCP xA.
