Default battery problems

i tried to start my car one day and nothin was happening. it turns out my battery sulfated in one of the cells and failed the load test when i brought it in for maintenance. i never leave my lights on and have no aftermarket audio or any other source of strain on the battery. maybe i just got a bad battery from the factory, but i was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and if theres something faulty with the electronics of the xB.

I never had that problem, where are you located? Near the cold? If not then maybe it was just a defective battery. Hope they took care of you at the dealer. :D

im in sunny so cal (well not so much right now), so the cold is definitely not a factor, but the dealer did take care of everything really quickly and said they couldnt find any huge issue that would lead to the battery problem.
