Exhaust ?

Why doesn't any of the big name exhaust manufacturers make a cat back exhaust for the Xb? Axle Back exhausts are just for show, I want something that will give me real power. P.S. Mangnaflow does not count as a respectable exhaust, personally I think the thing sounds like crap on the Xb. 04' Thunderclowd Xb 5 speed

The cat is part of the exhaust pipe meaning you cant make a bolt on to the cat. You would need to make the whole exhaust including the cat. That would cost a lot. Otherwise you need to cut the pipe at the cat and then weld an exhaust there. Big companies like to make bolt on exhausts so you can do it yourself.

I guess you haven't heard of the stylis manifold back maganflow system to really say anything can you now. :twisted: But than again I think you have an automatic scion, which would explain the reason you didn't like the sound of the magnaflow catback.

They make an axle back, that they call a cat back, but in reality it is a axle back. Unless you can show me a pic of the cat back.

yeah thats what I thought, every one I saw was an axle back. :D Some companies say cat back but they really mean axle back. Borla has this problem in thier catalog too.
