Default Greddy SP2 installed...have some questions

I installed the greddy sp2 last night and everything was a breeze, but I had some questions concerning the fitment from the midpipe to the axleback. I removed the stock exhaust and there was no gasket, only a donut protusion from the midpipe to the axleback. When I installed the Greddy the donut protrusion did not meet flush with the Greddy but enough so there wouldn't be any leaks. I tightened down the bolts with the springs and everything seems ok, but there is a small gap between the axleback and midpipe, minus the donut protrusion. Is this just how it is? Or did I do something wrong. Thanks in advance.

I know there are several people with the sp2. Any ideas?

I don't have my SP2 on yet but you might just want to get an exhaust gasket and toss it on there.

all exhaust are like that, thats why they made a donut like gasket, and its just not flate right, it has an angel to it. thats why it wont leak air. when they designed all cars and exhaust they knew nothing can be PERFECT expsally exhaust. and thats why they have rubber hangers and a flexible cat and the donut. for flexibility, and flush seal. so no worries, i have a HKS Hi-Power and its the same thing, one sides gap is bigger than the other. i know what ur talking about, its no biggie, dont worry.....just worry when you exhaust falls off or start making fart noises HAHAHA
