best place to get TRD exhaust
Hey guys,
What would be the best price to pick up the TRD axle back exhaust? Best place interm of price, that is. The stealership is something like 580.
Thanks,
Mike

i've been looking for the best place to buy the TRD exhaust as well. I found it for about $400 shipped at www.racingsolution.com. unless you want to buy used this is the cheapest i have seen it
I have 2 instock right now if you want one. We're also running a sale on Injen stuff for the tC if you're interested in that.

Yeah, if only I live around you and can drive over and pick it up. I don't know if I want to spend 450 on the exhaust.... yet. I'll take my time a little and think about it.
I was actually leaning towards the Strup axle back for the tC but was afraid it would sound like the one for the xB. It would drive me up the wall.... er.... windshield.
Then there's also the Tanabe, which would save a lot of weight and they claim to be pretty quiet. But from what I have seen, they sit way too close to the bumper and stick out a little too much - might trip people over.
There's not many choices otherwise. Bad experience with greddy, Remus doesn't make one for tC, and I am especially afraid of firment issues with other exhausts. So I am left with the TRD.

ever thought about Injen? We have a sale on those going right now. They sound pretty good to me. Not ricey and I know that you mean about the strup for the xB cause I personally can't stand it either. I know 2 guys with them now and they are rather loud. I'm either going Borla or Injen on my box.

Every exhaust sounds like **** with a header not just the TRD. So if that's your argument it not very valid. Beside the HKS kicks out the side and looks IMO terrible. To me the side exit exhaust is a drift car only kinda thing but whatever.
I am sorry, I have to stand with Josh on this one. HKS was the first exhaust I considered after I got the tC. But after I saw that thing, it's not my style. I know there's a big HKS muffler support association here and so I will not say more.
i am not planning on putting on headers, but I understand where you are coming from. Thanks for your suggestion though.

TRD looks and sounds great.
Unless you're a poser or "racer" or someone that pushes his luck on the street driving like a fool, then get the TRD from Josh!
I love mine, and it's really easy to keep shiny. I use Windex and a micro-fiber towel and then Mother's metal polish a couple of times a year...
