Default BLACK MANUAL SCIONS IN CA. is the dealer being honest?

i put a $500 deposit on on a black five speed this afternoon. the toyota place here in San Luis Obispo still claims they cant find one in california. anywhere. so according to them theyre waiting until they get in their next selection and shippment of cars from toyota manufactorer. i want to know if anyone here knows any information or if theyve seen a black five speed on a lot anywhere here in california.

the dealer i went to had nothing but automatics, and i assumed that they wanted to get rid of those and tried to deter me from the black and sell me what they had on the lot. well i guess by the eighteenth they'll let me know if i have one or not. and it wont be until "january" until its possible to get it here.

is the BS. cause i know half of it may seem true..... the black manuals....being rare..... let me know. im calling them tomorrow. i want my scion ASAP.

They have some black manual ones in San Fran and they did have one at Thurston in Ukiah.~~ I am sure there were more than that too as in Petaluma I could have sworn they have a Black one on the lot(might not have been manual?) But the San Fran dealership had a ton of Xbs and I am sure some manuals in black.~~ The best way I found to look at what other dealers have is go to scion.com and look up available and I believe its under dealers? but they have the dealers website with what they have available and contact numbers and emails.~~

Frontier Toyota in Santa Clarita has three black xBs yesterday. I don't know if they are manual or auto, though.

It's never a good idea to give a dealer money before they have a car to sell. By giving them money you have basically committed yourself to whatever terms they wish to impose.

Hey when you finally get that box we should meet up I have a blk xB too. I'm in Santa Maria and head up to SLO town all the time. Good luck with your search I'll swing by Santa Maria toyota and see what they have and let you know.

I did the same thing when I purchased my xb. the dealer took my money and said thery had no more blue onyx pearl. Then when I was approved for the loan, all of a sudden a blue onyx showed up out of thin air!

I picked up a 5 speed this Monday @ Fremont Toyota (510) 252-5100 x 314 (Eddie or Ned). I got the same feed back on the White 5 speed so I went with the Black. Give em a call.

Post a message in the Scion Search area. It is linked to all of the registered dealers and if someone has it you will know ASAP.

Yeah it is pretty true about the manual xB's especially in base form. Longo doesn't have any black but we were fortunate enough to get a silver one. I have 2 customers that wanted but didn't order or put a deposit on Black 5spd.

Just like a a gentleman that wanted a white 5spd basic and i told him that he would have to order it. The next week I heard he had found one but it had LoJack, and a bunch of other accessories.....so much for basic.

The last "unicorn" Scion up till about last week was the white manual xB. And before that it was the black manual xB. But now, there's plenty to go around!

There's a black Xb at Sierra Toyota in Lancaster, CA, but it's an automatic, so it really doesn't help you. I'm hoping to get black myself.
