who here goes to school and work? well, i do, and it takes up my existence in entirety with everything that i have to finish and not having enough time to do so. i go to school in the mornings and work in the afternoons and by the time i get home, i eat dinner, chill for a bit, do some errands, and then start on my homework, which by this time is like 9 o'clock at night. it takes me 3 hours to complete the assignments, sometimes more, and i feel at a loss for the time that i don't have to actually live life.
I work from 5:30 to 2:00 a.m. I usually don't get to bed til about 4 a.m. and then I have class at 10 a.m. Mon-Thurs and class at 2:30 p.m. on Mon and Wed and another on Sat from 10a.m. to 2p.m. on Sat. I never see anyone. I work at night and go to school in the day. I usually end up spending my weekends catching up on homework. I feel your pain man.
Right now, I am at a school library with three others. We are supposed to be working on a group speech, but I did my part and just want to get this over with, so I am browsing SL instead of helping them out.
i am an honors engineer taking an average of 19.5 credits a semester over my first two years. I dont have time to work. I dont even have to time to do my homework, but I try to manage time for the tc..

lol me i'm a HS student and go to leave for school at 6:30am and get home usually around 4pm. Mondays I have to go back at 5:30 then get home around 8:30. Then sometimes I need to go to the university to play in their band. The rest of the time i'm doing homework or trying to manage time to work on my tC or getting out to the trails to ride.

Yeah... I have a gf too. Along with the weird work hours and school, I'm working on getting married. I'm paying for my own school and all, so it's hard to save money for a house and ring when they're taking out $170 out of every single one of my paychecs for the advance I took to pay for this semester of school. I'll get it back after the semester is over, thanks to tuition reimbursement, but it's still really tight.

Wow, I can't say I miss this... I'm out of school and work 40 hours a week, the rest of the time is mine. All I can say is keep your heads up and you'll get through it.

Thanks man! It means a lot to hear people say that. I'm 24 years old, so going to school with 18 and 19-year-olds isn't the easiest thing in the world. To be honest, it's one of the most humbling things I've ever experienced. My sister recently graduated while working and taking care of two kids at the age of 27, so I figure if she can do it, then I can do it too. I'm planning on majoring in Manufacturing Engineering.
