Default No More tC :(

Well I have enjoyed the short time I have spent on this site! I am sorry to say but the tC has left the garage for a 2007 Tacoma Double Cab. Long story short I just could not fit everything I need in the tC for my new part time job and the Rav is leased so I don't want to mess with that. I hope to get a new tC when the Rav lease is up. Thanks to all of you and I will still visit and will be at the xB drive in Blaine, MN.

Take care all of you!

Caz

Should of gotten the 5.7L Tundra double cab. Talk about huge.
Both trucks are nice and farwell to your tC.

I looked at the Tundra and loved it. But my wallet would not have with all that I wanted on it.

$40K for a truck is alot but the one I test drove was loaded.
I was gonna do the same as you did when the Tundra was released 2 months ago but gas prices is what turn me back to my tC.

Thats funny, I went to the dealership to buy a used Tacoma (to tow my quad around) and left with a new tC. Couldn't pass up the sexiness and the price. I'll just have to use my old beater Ranger to tow the quad.

^ funny you said that because I have my tC and I also have my 94' Ranger which is running on 5 cylinders. Had to take away power from the 6th one and disconnected the the fuel injector on #4 to get it to pass emissions in IL. It passed but the engine is idling rough. The good news is OBD1 vehicles (vehicles prod. before 96') will not have to take emission tests ever again. In IL. it was mandated back in January. Don't know how it is in other states but it's an open opportunity to heavily modify a 96' and beyond tuner and not worry about emission laws. :D

So since all aof this... The Tacoma went Bye Bye because of a vibration that they could not figure out and the fact that they wanted to change my payments since there new finance person messed up. I got a 2007 Camry SE V6 with everything but the Navi. Now with about 800 miles on the car the trans started slipping and flaring. So now with less the 2100 miles on it, it is in the shop getting a new trans. I am hopeing through arbitration they will take it back and I will either get a new tC or xB. Keep your fingers crossed for me all.

Thanks and have a good one!

Ouch, dude. That sucks. I remember reading an article about a month back where the author was wondering whether Toyota would become complacent and let their standards fall now that they are number one. I've been reading a lot of things recently that really makes me wonder whether or not that guy was on to something.

Anyways, good luck. Hope they give you what you want.
