Default wth is this

I saw this car the other day on my way to work, but, I have no idea what it is... looks british, judging by the front it has the jaguar hood clips. But the back is pure Austin Healey. Any ideas? or is this a cobbled together vehicle and I'm driving myself crazy?

It looks like a karmann ghia, but it's too modern to be that. Whatever it is, the exhaust tip frightens me. I just pray the ricers don't see it and bring it back....

LOL at karmann ghia...Looks like either an MG, austin healey, alfa Romeo...get a pic of the hood emblem and post it...that'll let us know more.

I just was looking through some pics on the internet. It may be a Triumph. It has a lot of the same features of a GT6. i can't find anything quite like the pic though.

Hey if the KG had made it to the late 70's/early 80's thats what the body lines would have evolved into.

No, I dissagree due to the fact that the beetle never changeg from the mid 40's till late 70's. If it were a Ghia, it would still look like the Ghia we all know. just look at VW's track record.

Good point. Since you mentioned it I am leaning more Healey or MG because of the taillights and the terrible looking gas filler neck sitting up.

I think I figured it out...it's a conversion van, and by the pics, it's blue.

Sorry, I was just perturbed by the akward front of the car, and looking at it for a whole 5 minutes..... I just don't know what the hell it is. IMO it is a bondo work or custom job.

i just spent a few minutes looking at wikipedia pics. nearest i can figure, it might be an old MG B, but i couldn't find an exact picture to match up with it.

some of them came kinda close except for tailights and trunk style, so i can't say it with certainty that i figured it out. but oh well, life goes on.
