Default Battery Tie Install (AEM)

In this tutorial I will show you have to install the AEM Billet Oil Cap & Battery Tie Down.

Tools Need:
Socket Set
Allen Key Set

First and foremost I would disconnect the Battery's Negative Wire just to be safe.

First unscrew the Oil Cap

Screw on the AEM Billet Cap

Unscrew both bolts (One on each side) using your 10mm Socket

Remove the Stock J-Hooks, Replace with AEM'S Black Hooks

Unclip the battery ground wire from the OEM Bracket

Install the provided negative battery cable bracket to the bottom of the AEM Battery Tie Down using the Screws they give you.(Screws are 3/32" Allen Key 19lbf-in)

Install your new tie down using the OEM Bolts (10mm) tighten them untill the J-Hooks are flush with the bolts.

Clip your ground wire into the bracket.

Sticker

AEM Sends you this sticker being you replaced the oil cap

Remove the backing

Stick it on and your done!

Final Finish

Review:
The Billet Parts from AEM are good quality parts! Instructions are very informative and descriptive (Way better then there DC Header Install Ones) even for the simple Oil cap install. They send you AEM stickers with these parts. No these parts will not boost your hp or performance of your car, But it will provide you with a touch of *Bling*. It adds a nice pop to your dull boring engine bay! Great for that weekend show car!

Its 1 am and i still can't decipher whether ur serious or not about this Kaeon...this is hillarious..and yes...and person who has a difficult time with this..should prolly just stick to a stock tC lol...but aside from the hillarity of it all....I like the battery tie down a lot..don't care too much for the oil cap...tooo bling for a really dark part of the bay

hes just addin a HOW TO thats all , there are probably some people out there that have no idea but want to learn and something this simple will give them the confidence to start tryin out other things . Its all a learnin expierence . Hell some of us would find this to be a joke while some would have no clue where to start . Why you think most instructions are written in baby talk LOL . Put Key in ignition , turn key to start , release key LOL
