bb's also have column shifers and the front seat is a bench seat, but most everything is the same. small bumpers mentioned above, ours bigger bumpers for crash regulations...you can order bb stuff at www.myautofashion.com bb floor mats, body kits, emblems, rear view mirror garnish, etc...

They also have an AWD option. Smaller engine option also, 1.3 liters IIRC.

Their Rear Door has no license plate... their plate is on the bumper, fog lights are different, some bB's come with no ground effects, head lights are different but interchangeable with our xB, etc etc.

What do you wwant to know specifically.? There are some good sites that will help you, most notably http://carsonscion.com/. Check the JDM bB parts. They pretty much carry the parts that will fit xB's. They answer your questions as well. it would be impossible for anyone here to be able to pick the two cars apart and give you every little difference. Its like anything else, ACURA RSX = HONDA INTEGRA (JAPAN), etc.etc. There are always going to be subtle differences based on government requirements, results from focus groups and sales projections, etc.

If you ask me, SCION has a nicer look than the humorous bB image.

In the end, either way you're getting a toyota.

They may have an option for the 1.3, but I can only get 1.5 FWD or AWD in Auto only.

I don't 'call mine Xb... I always knew it as Bb!!! I have been a huge fan of Bb since its debut in 1999! So, calling it under Scion Xb is little weierd for me... But, that's just me...

I believe the lates version of Bb in Japan has same bumpers as ours. Did they finally get manual shifter? Bb only had steering wheel colume mounted shifter...

AWD in Bb is not an all time AWD you can find in cars like Audi, or Subaru... Frankly, I don't think part time AWD is needed for cars like Bbs... I mean... if you drive these cars like you need AWD, you got the wrong car. Also, added weight and stuff... I think front wheel drive is perfect for what it is.

Hey Dink, what kind of arm rest is it? Is it interchangeable to the Xb? And if so where can I find it? Sorry for all the questions. That is just one of the only two problems I have with the Xb and the other I can fix. Thanx for the help.

Here's some bB Audio/ Nav accesories: (check out the Nav system)
http://www.toyota.co.jp/Showroom/All...udio_navi.html
Would be nice if the xB came with these in silver instead of black.

Or the back-up camera as an accessory:

Where can you get an Ist center console? I would love to have one of those. That site has pictures but no "add to cart" buttons or anything.

Default bigger cargo area

It seems bB has a bigger cargo area. Its back row can flip all the way.
Cargo space height level lower than xB , wonder were does the spare tire hide!

Does anyone know the difference in the JDM foglights or the USDM fogs? I have not found a side by side shot of the fogs so I can not see the difference. I know that with VW's the euro lights all have different beam pattern then the american version, and this is what I am hoping for, but before I dish out the extra loot I want to know for sure. Thanks in advance.

The spare tire (and jack) doesn't hide anywhere on the bB. It doesn't have one! They either have run-flat tires or the Japanese equivelent of the AAA carries spare wheels around with them.

This makes me mad, too, as they could have put the spare underneath and given us a lot more space in the rear. Instead, we get a silly "secret compartment" that isn't all that usable.
