I'm the guy that started ScionLife. I am constantly amazed at how generous and helpful this community has become. I have
run several automotive enthusiast sites before (nwstreetracing.com and draglab.com) but this is by far the most fun. I haven't ever taken
a single web design class, everything you see here is done by just trying, failing and trying again. I started freelance web design as a hobby back
in 1994. In 2003, when I launched ScionLife, I was selling performance parts for Toyota and Lexus vehicles. As a diehard Toyota enthusiast I couldn't
resist creating a new community for people that shared the same interest.

I'm Darren's brother and I joined him in early 2004 to work on ScionLife full time. I graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 with a degree in mechanical engineering but could only stomach a couple years in that field. I've taken over much of the responsibility of site administration and advertising, and my involvement with this community has been gratifying since day one! I can help you if you can't find your answers elsewhere.
