Drifting is hard. People think they can drift and they tend to end up either in a ditch or have weirdly melded with a lightpole. Even pro drifters tend to crash their cars. So when I say drifting is hard, you get my point.
That said, the guys that do it professionally are nuts, and tend to take things to the extreme. And that’s where you get this video below. It’s of Chris Forsberg, the current leader in Formula D, and Tony Angelo of the Scion Racing team that runs a FR-S, drifting together. With a taser. This will not go right.
Essentially Tony wants revenge on his friend Chris for not making any mistakes while they drift in Formula D, so to make him screw up, Tony introduces Chris to his little friend while mid drift. Obvioulsy they don’t do it in their competition cars because they have many many dollars into them, and use some beat missile builds, but it’s safe to say, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! I know you’re “hella awesome” with your drifting, but you aren’t, and these dudes had medical technicians on standby if something bad happened, you know besides getting tazed.
