Not only did Aasbo and his 2019 Toyota Corolla grab the top spot in qualifying, he also nabbed an almost perfect score, as well.

The 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback is an excellent daily driver, we know that. We also know that it makes for a great race car and motorsport platform.

The 2019 Corolla made it’s Formula Drift debut at Long Beach this year. We were there and covered the event live. So, we can say, with some certainty, that the car, the driver, and the team behind it are all top notch. It’s no surprise that Fredric Aasbo won FD Long Beach, despite it being the car’s first ever outing.

It also explains how, during Formula Drift St. Louis, which took place this past weekend, Aasbo and his Corolla drift car dominated the field during qualifying. With a near perfect 98/100 score, no one was even close to touching Aasbo in qualifying, despite some very valiant efforts.
