Scion Announces FR-S Release Series 1 (aka “The FR-S RS1”)

Scion might be calling this one the Release Series 1, but if we’re being honest, it would be better labeled the TRD edition. Let’s just take a look at the features list:

– TRD Quad Tip Exhaust System
– TRD steering wheel
– TRD shift knob
– TRD logo cargo mat
– TRD lowering springs

Scion didn’t slap the TRD logo all over the thing, which I’m thankful for, but they have loaded up on the racy hardware. I also like the “Yuzu” yellow paint. They’re only building 1,500 of these. If you want one, you better have your cash ready when they hit dealerships in August.
