Default Anybody here drive a Colorado/Canyon in addition to a scion?

I'm looking into the Chevy Colorado and the GMC Canyon. They are essentially the "new s10/s15 sonoma" for those of you who do not know/care about trucks. I was just wondering if anybody has one though and what you think of it/how you like it and I want to know if you tailgate is still working lol (I used to drive an s10, I know all about the dreaded tailgates)

My uncle has a black Canyon and he just it! He has no complaints about it. About the tailgate, he hasn't mentioned anything about that...yet.

My uncle has a Canyon and HATES it. All plastics are cheap, everything rattles or buzzes. He has been in the shop for the tailgate, TWICE, but it works OK now.

Wait on the xP or get a Tacoma.

thanks for the replies. the only way I could get an xP is if it was 4wd, I'm considering a Tacoma and haven't heard anything bad about them yet.

GM's trucks are known for having tailgate issues, it's worse with their "compact" trucks

having a fast truck is retarded...it's a truck. I'd rather have a slower car that can carve around the mountain roads doing 70 mph...can't do that with a truck no matter how sticky your tires are
