So i got into an arguement with few members on CSTC who did not seem so performance oriented and were talking about spending 4k+ on HRE wheels instead of getting decent wheels and a turbokit. Then said a TC with a turbo isnt a head turner at all.. i was like wtf lol?

so they then proceed to tell me how a tc with 300whp cant beat a boxster S or any other porsche.. lmao! then they target ME next and say i have no shot at even coming close to beating a porsche GT3. Which yes i laughed. Arguement got deleted and they made me make a new post.

that's sad; its bad enough tc's get ripped by muscle heads or domestic ricers lol but when its other tc's yea i dont get it. and who the hell would spend that much on wheels? i'm happy with mine that were 1k. and if i had 4k to spend it'd def be to a turbo kit over expensive wheels

yea see thats what im saying lol.. from a distance i wouldnt even be able to recognize HRE's but id be able to see a frontmount or hear a BOV. and yea i am trying to set these races up. i might have to sit around on the road for a while to find some porsches but they are around.. especially turbo's. which are faster than the gt3 anyway..

Just for reference, My dad had an Porsche CaymanS. When my AUTO tC had 258whp, I Ws ahead of him 4 cars by 100mph. Then, we went into the turns, he easily overtook me. But Porsches anything less than GT2/3 Will have trouble with a 300whp tC in a straight line.
