Yes folks this car will be comming to the US later this year as part of the whole Fiat/Chrysler merger/buy out/fiasco. Don't worry though, it will not be re-badged as a Chrysler. It will be all FIAT/Abarth.



And if things go right, this other car will follow it.

I saw the Top Gear episode back when they tested the car. the Abarth edition is quite the little bada$$. I'd certainly pic one up

It's nice, but I'd rather have the Abarth Punto Evo.


Shame that they'e not planning on bringing the Punto over, it has better lines than the 500.

 

If the FIAT 500 does well, we'll probably get other FIAT models, and maybe even some Alfa Romeo cars. If the Mini Cooper and Cooper S models are doing so well, I have no doubt that the only Italian car in the country that normal people can buy will be a hit. You want super exclusivity at less than $20,000 the 500 will be it.

 

thats a little competition for the mini, it looks like a cool car!

 

If the Abarth comes I am so buying it and it will kill the IQ

The guy at the Auto Show around the Fiats said the Abarth would be here some time at the end of next year. The regular 500s will be here in the last quarter of this year.

 

like I said this will eat the IQ up....The Abarth will be awesome while IQ owners will pine for a 5 Axis kit that will never come or be affordable
