too heavy...? Look at the tC... 2900 lbs with 160hp. The Z is only about 300 more lbs with 300hp. plus the Z's weight ratio is 53/47 while the tC is split 60/40, just like your rear seats.

cuz you can buy out a lease at any time, plus even though modding itsn't allowed in the lease contract, I modded my leased tC, the nissan dealer didn't care that I had modded my leased car. They were more than happy to make the trade. That's how you work the system man, Leasing gives you a lower payment, you can buy the car if you want or turn it in, and you can mod it, and just take it to a different dealer as a trade, or even sell it to carmax.

They put down about 245 to the wheels... But you get the kinda loss in any car. HP at the flywheel vs HP at the wheels, the Flywheel is always much higher.

^^Just be sure to turn off the VDC to have fun. Or you can totally disconnect it instead of remembering to hit the friggin button.

Maybe I just don't understand it but...I personally don't see all the excitement in the 350Z.

A friend of mine has one and hates it. Unfortunately for her ( or maybe fortunately ) she let a friend borrow it a couple of weekends ago and he wrecked it ( we all told her so ).

Anyway, I done some valeting and driven a bunch of them and haven't been impressed.

Now please don't jump all over me, it's just my feeling...to each his own.

All it takes is the right kind of driver to make this car shine.

If her car was an auto I can totaly understand why it wouldn't be fun to drive. You say you valet cars, and have driven a few Z's. Cool, but what kinda test drive do you get by driving around a parking lot at 5-10 mph. If you're taking it to the streets to get a better picture, shame on you! Take that old man's Z back to the lot and park it! You have to look at what the Z was made for. 1. it is not a drag car, though it is quick off the line. 2. It is not a Mustang, so you don't have to be cocky while driving it. 3. The 350Z is a factory built track ready car with a tight suspension that will always turn in the best times compared to other cars in it's class. This car is a blast in the twisties and can be fun around town. Yesterday, I schooled a 2004 Bullet Mustang GT. It's my friends car, so I know what he's got under the hood, and I know he's a good driver. We ran twice. First time I had a bad launch, he pulled away at the start but I gradually caught up with him. 2nd time I connected (it was cold and my tires were rebeling) and it was a beating. Had him by atleast 2 car lengths. You need to take the Z out for a real drive(but not while you're doing valet). Then you will appreciate it's beauty and performance.

Congrats on the car. I was looking at those, a G35 Coupe and the tC when I purchased the tC. Almost bit the bullit on a G35, but decided to get the tC and get a Ducati hopefully in the spring. After riding sportbikes, no matter what car it is, it will still feel incredibly slow to me and will handle like crap. Plus my car only gets driven in the winter and when it rains out otherwise I take the bike everywhere.

girly??? not a big fan??? and you admit to never having driven one... hmm. You definately need to drive one, and realize that the 6MT's are definately a mans car. I loved my tC when I had one and see it as a uni-sex car, but to say the 350Z is girly, I beg to question the manlyness of the scion line up, especially since the xb (your car) is very popular with the gays... and the tC is very popular with the ladies. Don't be scared. Man up, and go drive a 350Z.
