well the last sunday we were on the freeways and there was a dodge srt4 car club.So since iam supercharged i get in the lane right next to them.So iam rite next to all of them and i reved on every single one of them and all they were doin was turnin there heads probably laughing , but they probably stoped laughing when a few of them decided to step up and try to run it, but we just gave them a lil tasteof wat we got and flew past them.....

 

Arent you too old to be racing people. That kind of stupid shiit seems like something a teen driver would be doing ... but a 41yr man. lol

Yea, that probably just took their opinion of tC drivers down a notch or two. Seeing an older guy doing something like that probably made them laugh more than anything. I hate Neons.....oops, I mean SRT-4's, but I don't go around acting all tough in my tC.

i doubt they raced back, s/c'd or not they will smoke you. been there done that...

 

I'm an x-SRT-4 owner also, as D_Gage said, even a s/c tC will lose to a stock srt-4. they're putting out between 215-225 whp with 230-250 wtq in a car that weighs about the same. unless the tC has a zpi pulley, s/c intake, exhaust, etc etc etc (extra power mods), it'll hang with an srt-4, but not beat it.

I'm not even sure it would hang with a stock SRT.

But I think the old Honda owners did the honking on other fellow drivers. Guess they brought that trait over when they bought their Scion.

Wow, I don’t know if it was just today or what... but a lot of posts I read today was someone ripping on someone else. All he did was share a personal experience, and you guys go out and alienate him. Honestly, who of you have done power mods to your car just to be there? He has it; he might as well show it off. Just because you don’t agree, doesn’t mean you have to put him down.

 

^ I think at that age you are risking alot by street racing. Can you imagine if this guy was to get in an accident and die, what his wife and kids would go through. (if he's married and has kids, at that age its very common). I have seen many of people die in illegal street races (mostly teens). Not only are they a danger to themselves, but others on the road as well.

all of you shoud grow up and stop the bashing because its pointless. he coud of just passed all the SRT4's going 80 or 90 which i know many of you do touch once in a while.

yes SL does not promote street racing and i believe its very dangerous but cut the bashing.
