Nice. Just saw the video. Looks about like conditions I had this past Sunday as well. Wet as ____. Was a ton of fun though. I'll have to check the pics later (work + photobucket = fail).

We're done with autox, but have one more rallyx coming up!

 

The pics are nothing really, no one was taking pictures because of the rain. It was def a lot of fun in the rain, especially having no traction everytime I touched the gas lol.

And I don't know why my tires were squeeling so much.

I'm officially hooked now. Going to run one more event with the tC, then hopefully I'll have the S2K for the first spring race.

 

See... doesn't take much! More people need to get out and do this stuff.

 

I won't lie, I was afraid of running, that's why I never did it lol. I actually debated keeping the tC turbo'd, but then I realized that I could have a real 2-seater, RWD, one of the greatest transmissions ever made, convertible, vtekz, etc...and I said f the tC lol.

I can't wait until I get to race the S2K, that's going to be a lot of fun.

That's funny because at my last AutoX, we were running 2 seconds faster than some dudes in an S2k. AutoX is about the driver, and power is on the lower totem pole of things that matter.

Why did the Subie guys get upset about your classification though?

 

They weren't upset, they were laughing about it and didn't really care lol. I was just naming off all my mods, and they put me in D class, stock STIs were C or B class I think, and they were saying that one mod for them makes them Unlimited .

And if power is lower on the totem pole, then the S2K would be a huge jump, considering it's about 100WHP lower than what my tC was . Regardless, I doubt I'll be getting an S2K, maintenance, insurance and lack of warranty are making me look at other cars.
