My 1/8th mile was 8.4 @ 9-10lbs on the 16G. Didn't get a chance to run it with 12lbs and the 20G.

 

Is there a chance to crack the 9 second barrier with a TT kit on my xb? With a good tune, clutch and full exhaust?

 

'06 5spd. xB - Bolt Ons - 1/8th - Right lane in all the runs.. did 25 passes, here are the better ones.

Spinning 1st gear and part of second.. trying new things in another week to fix that.

question for anyone... friend of mine with a tc... has injen short ram, header, lightweight pulley, throttlebody spacer, complete catless exhaust and is lowered like 2 inches claims he runs a 14.6..... is this even possible at all as i dont believe it

 

Yes it's possible if he has some good rubber and a little bit of weight reduction. I have personally ran up against MikeScion who was doing consistent 14.7 - 14.8 with I/H/E and crank pulley (back when he was NA). I personally ran 15.1 - 15.2 with a full exhaust as my only power mod (back when I was NA).

Thats at elevation down at sea level your def low 12s, way to go Cory.

 

oh yeah that run was at 6200 ft above sea level maybe 11s down there with some slicks lol i want to be at sea level

A 100% Bone stock tC will do 9.8 in the 1/8th mile. Your 60foot time of 2.5 is extremely high. You drop that down to a 2.1-2.0 and your cooking. Don't dump the clutch if that's what you are doing. Your getting massive wheel spin to run a 2.5 60foot.

 

best i've seen out here from a stock tc is a 9.9

 

I did a 9.880 at the longo show, stock

 

Went out last night and got 9.911

getting there... maybe i shouldn't go with a full tank next time.
