key work "PAYPAL" file a claim with The TRUTH and you will get all your money back, it could take a while though.

Did you use funds in your PayPal account to pay him or you used a credit card through PayPal?

This sounds very similar to my experience with him when I tried buying two keychains, but he did send me a full refund.

He told me that he sent them to me three (maybe four, but I think three) different times and I never saw anything of them either time that he said he sent them. The last time I requested that he send them via priority mail with a confirmation # and he said ok, but I never got a package and he said that he lost the confirmation #. Immediately following that he sent me a FULL refund. It was only $13, but hey it was $13.

Sigh. I sent it out like I said I did. My mom works at the post office and she always take it out to work. I don't know if it's the post office or what. I really don't have anything else to say.
I represent companies. I work at a Toyota/Scion dealership. So no way in hell am I screwing people over. No matter how busy I am, I always make it to the post office within 48 hours. I am no way obligated to insure things. When I say shipped, I usually assume it's shipped. Not shipped and insured. I have many people that can vouch for me. I've come a long way and have been on forums for a good 6+ years. I have done over a 100 deals on pbreview.com, automags.org and pbnationcom. I am not a thief or a crook. I take too much pride in this whole forum thing. I'm not going to ruin my reputation.

US Postal Service - Priority Mail.

Ships to most places in the US in between 1-5 business days for usually less than $10. (not sure about hawaii)

With Delivery Confirmation (an extra $0.50), you can see where your package is. Good for sending smaller parts around.

ALWAYS get Delivery Confirmation. A lot cheaper than UPS or Fedex

Just in the future when you buy something get a tracking number and the item insured.

I sent it. How would I feel? Over 7 years alot of things happen. I don't think you know how many times I have been screwed. Or How many times things have gotten lost for me. I know how it feels so I treat everyone the same way. I've lost over $3,000. If I really took the time to add it all up. All the times I've been scammed by people and companies I bet it would be alot more. I can't really say much. I held up my part of the bargain and sent it out. It's out of my possession and I can't justify sending $100 for something that I didn't do. For all I know you have the stiffy. You could be trying to stiff me for $100.

Nobody knows where anything is in the Post office (or any shipping) system if there's no tracking number.

The nice thing about tracking is it keeps the shipper, the sender, and the recipient honest. Just use tracking the next time something is shippped.

Without that, nobody can prove or disprove anyone did anything - neither Chrischoi nor satoman can say with certainty - "he didn't send it, he's scamming me" or "he got the item and wants his money back anyways, he's scamming me"

The title of this thread got my attention, but as I read, it's not at all what I thought, lol. These types of issues are rarely ever resolved amicably. Generally one party takes the loss, fumes a bit, and probably never does business with the other ever again. Posting here though, shouldn't have been your first course of action. I know paypal insures some purchases up to a certain amount, see if they can assist you in atleast discussing the problem with the seller (Chris) or the Post Office.

I would personally be willing to try another transaction with chrischoi, but would deffinitely want a tracking #.

Hey chrischoi, just start including one whether the buying wants it or not. If the buyer says that they do not want one, then tell them that if they don't want to pay whatever the extra shipping is because of it, then you will not sell to them. No harm in that at all. That will deffinitely be a little protection for yourself as well as the buyer.

I'm not trying to get into the middle of anything, since I never dealt with either the poster or the vendor involved, but I can relay my experiences with PayPal, both as a seller and a buyer:

If a claim is put into the PayPal system as an item not received, then the seller needs to provide proof that the item was sent - a receipt from the post office doesn't work, and PayPal won't cover the seller under thier Seller Protection Program, and they will side with the buyer in a claim...in the case of something sent via USPS, the only proof they accept is a tracking number, or in the case of an international claim, proof of insurance (since there is no way to track global items through the USPS unless it's insured...or sent out Global Express, in which case that's a lot more $$$).

Sooo....

If you don't get your item, and verification cannot be made that it was shipped, make a claim to PayPal - they are very fair (it just takes a while to get reimbursed).

+1

items that i sell, i usually ship them with UPS ground as they have a good tracking system and offer the first 100 bucks insured at no charge. the smaller stuff, i ship them with USPS.

stuff get "lost" every now and then. i once ordered a box of royal purple and i tracked it everyday until its delivery date, but on the day it was supposed to be delivered, i tracked it once more and it says "exemption, empty box discarded in trash receptacle" im left saying, "WTF? someone stole my oil?" luckily it was shipped via UPS ground and it was covered and the seller shipped out another box for me and this time around i received it with no problems.
