EGTC88 Biggest piece of ____ on the forum . Commits fraud
Well let me first start by tell you guys about the item I sold on here.
I sold a nitrous kit (nx) ALOT of the items were new. Pictures were provided in the thread.
ORIGINAL LISTING
what is listed is what you get. The only thing you need is a fogger and some wire and the kit is 100% complete. Foggers are very cheap on ebay and wiring can be bought anywhere.
Nitrous kit 200 OBO plus shipping (shipping will be about 15- 20 bux)
New NX 10lb bottle
New 16’ line
New 20 in line
New 20in line
2 solenoids
Solenoid dress up plates
Male to male connector quick release
Purge with male quick release
Throttle switch
3 solenoid mounting brackets
90deg hard line
These two sets of items came with the solenoids he bought, he never used them. He just used a fogger.
Rpm pills 3000, 8000, 9000, 9000
Nitrous Jets 45, 45, 57, 63, 65, 75
HE refers to a friend who I traded a part for this kit.
OK Edwing agrees to buy the kit, he sends payment around the 7/12 and item send on 7/16 and recieved 7/18th shipped via fed ex

I get a flood of pms telling me that if the item wasnt shipped yet he was filing a paypal claim (like 3 days after payment) and he wanted a tracking NOW. I told him I would be out of town for a few days. I promptly shipped it when I got back. Now after he recieves the item on the 18th I get a pm on the 20th saying he wants his money back. The selenoid doesnt work. I saw with my own eyes that both worked when they were sent to him. He also claims the lines and bottle were not new... The lines had tef tape on them all link together ready to be installed. I took them apart to make it easier to box. He reasoning was since it had tape on the inside of the flare nuts it was used.

Hey I got the kit, first of all its not complete. Im talking about more than the fogger is missing. The wiring, relay, the arming switch, things like that. The kit is not new either, you can tell its used,plus the bottle is NX and one of the solenoids is NOS brand. Now I dont have a problem with all that because replacing the missing parts is cheap. Today though I tested one of the solenoids and its not working, the other one works because it clicks open and then closed. So what can we do about this because replacing this is expensive. Not angry or anything, I just want to sort things out. Thanks

Some of the lines are already put together with thread tape, and the paint is worn away. So they are not new.
The first thing you said in the thread is "The only thing you need is a fogger to make this kit 100% complete".
This is right out of the thread, and you need more than that to make it 100% complete.
I tested both the solenoids and one does not click and is not working. The other solenoid does work.
You also never said "what you see is what you get".
Also the **** on the bottle has a crack in it.
I already took a snapshot of the thread and will be emailing it to paypal.
All I ask is a refund.

Thats why I bought them. If you are assuming the bottle is not new because of finger prints is a frivoulous claim. I bought that bottle new directly from nx. I have sold 100s of things over 3-4 forums and you are the first to claim I shipped a broken product or false advertised

Paypal has decided that they cant do anything because they only cover shipping problems. I am not lying to you about any of the things wrong with the kit, I am being 100% honest. One of the solenoids does not work, tested it and everything. So all I want is the 227, I will pay for shipping with the 27. My next step is going to my bank and seeing what they can do. Thanks.

He then filed a paypal claim. Well they wouldnt do anything since he recieved the item he then went to his bank (same bank I use Bank of america) You can see this in the pms. He has claimed that the charge was fraudulent. The bank has given him the money back and he still has the nitrous kit. Paypal has reversed my account -220 and im out the item as well total of 440.
Now for my opinion. If you ask me this kid is stupid a hell. I have pms of him agreeing to buy the kit , tracking, and confirming he has recieved the kit. He committed fraud with the bank and thinks he can have the cake and eat it too. Little does he know thats not how it works. I gave all this info to paypal and will be calling the bank tomorrow to inform that this kid is committing fraud along with all supporting documentation.
Any other tips?

The only tip I have is you dont need to use teflon tape on a flare fitting and I wouldnt because the tape could come free and block your lines..
In all seriousness though, paypal most of the time sides with the buyer. Unfortunately for you, he is claiming that items he recieved were defective. Paypal will end up ruling in his favor and he will keep the kit.
Similair situation happened to me where I had advertised a Scion radio from an 04 xB back in 04. Long story short, the kid that bought it thought he was getting a 6disc even when I gave him model numbers and pictures of the unit and told him it was a single disc. Paypal sided with him, I was out the 300 and he kept the radio. Nothing I could do because he claimed it wasnt what he purchased. So good luck bud, I hope it works out for u.

He is claiming he didnt make the purchase. I have emails with proof. I have sent the bank all the emails and paypal the tracking. The guy at paypal told me It will be cleared up in about a day or so. This happend to me before same deal. The kid claimed he didnt buy something they reversed funds I sent tracking and supporting documents and then the gave me my money back. I called the bank and they are looking into his claim. The man in billing inquiry told me that if he they find out he falsely claimed fraud he will be dropped from the bank and they will press charges. Trust me, he wont get to keep both, I will fly to WA and arive promplty at his house and take my kit back.

It's people like him that make me afraid to buy or sell things. Even though you are honest and want to give someone a deal, you still wind up getting the shaft in a way. Even though you have all the proof, look at all the work you have to go through to make $200, you already spent that in your time and effort. I feel for you. Please keep us updated with this situation. I always like to see the good guys finish first. Good luck with your efforts. Hope that you nail his ___!!!!
