or you could just unplug the sensor.

hell it might be easier to just remove the LED.

zer0 11-25-2005 12:52 PM

so much work...

jmiller20874 11-25-2005 03:37 PM

Turning off the beep is one thing, but cutting this and removing that can be dangerous. The tC's seatbelt sensor and seat position sensor are directly connected with how it decides to deploy the airbags. Cutting this and removing that could prove to be a bad idea if your airbag deploys wrong or fails altogether. Just some food for thought.

Nice - but I installed an aftermarket stereo...too late i guess

jmiller20874 11-25-2005 04:03 PM

 What's the stereo have to do with anything?

Sam_J84 11-25-2005 04:19 PM

theres actually a lot less steps than that though,
turn ign. to on position
switch to odo view press and hold for 10 secs
while still holding, buckle drivers belt
hit odo button to toggle b-on or b-off
thats it, you're done, thats how I do it on mine and works every time

Now I wanna play Contra, but don't have my old NES or the game. Hrmmm, anyone got this on an emulator? PM me!

scionracer06 11-30-2005 03:01 AM

BUCKLE UR SEAT BELT

basilisk4 11-30-2005 02:52 PM

Only idiots need their cars idiot-proofed...

P.S. Only about half those steps (not including the one about buckling the seatbelts) are necessary to actually turn off the seatbelt beep.

Jowie 12-02-2005 04:00 AM

Make something "idiot-proof", and they'll just make a better idiot.

Love that saying lol...

I'd say you've got a 50/50 chance.

Thanks for the shorter direction. I just disable my tc seat belt warning today.
