Hey Guys

New to the forum and small fwd vehicles.

My name is Zac and I just got my xB, 2006 White gen 1. Toaster was a 1 owner (elderly couple owned) 40,000 miles when I got it and I NEVER thought I would ever like a little commuter type car. I come from a background of racing both dirt track and radial 1/8th mile high horsepower cars.

I always have had street/strip daily drivers or a truck, but after meeting my fiance' and gain two amazing kids, the truck wasn't cutting it and was planning on trading the extended cab truck for a crew cab or tahoe this coming spring but after getting rear ended coming home after work while setting at a dead stop waiting to turn into my driveway but a young girl texting on a phone, I started looking for a new vehicle.

For some reason I have been in love with the Gen 1 xBs for some reason - totally out of the norm for me. But between the awesome gas mileage, ease of repair, cheap owning cost and the fact that its great for getting everyone in VERY comfortable and easy to drive an park, the love for the design turned into looking for one and I found the Toaster.

I have always been a modify for performance guy but this is a family car and a commuter, I will probably do a few mods - one I am in the process of - speakers that are factory are decent from what I can tell, they aren't bad but the factory head unit while not bad, doesn't have the factory iPod plug in the floor and those kits to convert leave a lot to be desired from what I hear, so I bought a JVC head unit that is probably way fancier than what I usually would have but it was my early birthday present from my fiance'. I have questions about the wiring because even though I have wired race cars - they are pretty straight forward for me - been doing it along time - however sound systems are foreign to me.

I attached a few pictures!
