Hey, I joined the club
Hey, everyone, I just purchased my first xB this week.
I am 21 year old college student, currently working my third [engineering] internship with Toyota. I figured the box would suit my cycling obsession, as well as being a great overall car.
I purchased a 2008 Scion xB, 5-spd manual with 59,000 miles. I would consider this to be in "very good" to "excellent" condition, which KBB estimates to be worth $11,100 to $11,600. I purchased it for $8500, so I am quite happy.
It came with brand new snow tires, so I just changed the rims and tires.
I'm always a forum lurker and enjoy reading about others experimenting with toys I have before I experiment myself. Looking forward to checking this place out and working on my xB.
