***Dashboard Stain when using Armor All or Windex***
It seems that the dimpled plastic interior doesn't take well to Armor All or Windex. It sinks in and leaves a stain in some areas blotchy! Hope this info saves a couple interiors. I saw some posts saying to use Murphys Oil? Input?

Murphys I have never used. it is made for wood afterall, Ill stick to Meguires Interior detail spray.
Why are you spraying windex on the dash anyway??

Don't use oil slick in the car, just my findings..........doesn't set well. Well doesnt look good over time. It gives the car that ashy effect, like on ya feet after you get through kicking rocks...................
Don't like armor all anything!

in my mustang, it's a different type of plastic than the xB, but i use meguiar's mist&wipe quik interior detailer, then follow up with tech protect. i do this monthly, dusting weekly. in the xB, i'll probly just use the mist&wipe, because it doesn't look like the type of plastic that should be shiny.

My car was in a body shop recently that also details your interior before they return it to you. They used something on my driverside door that I still cant get off. I only use a rag dampened with water. I knew when I bought it that dash and other parts would not take cleaners well. It wont be shiny but its clean. Maybe try a very very soft bristle brush to get whatever product into the grooves and wipe with an absorbent paper towel?
