Default 100k service

I have a tc and approaching 100K miles. I've never had any problems with this car and have never been to a dealer for any kind of recommended service. At 91000 miles, the car is still running strong and getting 30mpg so I am assuming that everything is still good. Now that it's approaching 100K mile, I suppose I will need some kind of engine service. Any recommedations...Thanks!

At that point in time, stick to these areas then...

-Transmission fluid (filter/fluid if automatic and you've done normal intervals of 30K)
-bushing inspections to check for cracks or leaks
-plugs and coils (plugs are rated at around 100K so check them)
-tie rod ends
-CV joint boot inspections
-***still ask about the timing chain
-serpentine belt (normal intervals of 30K-35K miles)
-gear box (if they have some way to check it)

That should be the major areas.

I'm just happy to see that someone has driven a tC over 90K Mile with no problem... It assures me that i bought the right car!

I think the dealer does have a 100K mile maintenance service package.

Packages are useless unless you've followed them precisely the entire life of the car. Almost everyone has had to do something that was out of the service interval schedule at one point in time so it throws it all off. It's best to keep track of what the dealer says and what you've done and come up with your own schedule according to information you find out online from reputable sources. I'm not blowing my own horn, just saying that self-saught information is the best you can find most of the time.

100k?

Replace spark plugs with OE
Replace engine and cabin air filter if they haven't been done recently.
Drain and refill automatic transmission fluid or flush if it hasn't been done recently.
Drain and refill or flush cooling system with Toyota SLL Pink or extended-life coolant.

If you want to do an extra good job, replace the brake and power steering fluids as well.

yeah it's too reliable...it's like boring you know... but i am glad too....some of you won't believe it but here are the things/services I have done to the car since I bought it brand new from Carmax in Laurel MD. It never visited any dealers for any of those recommended 30, 60 or 90K service ever!

1) TRD spring with stock shock @ 30K and shock still holding up
2) Oil change every 5000 mile religiously using only Mobile 1 only. You can lol @ me for wasting my $$$
3) 1 set of brake pad...time for another one soon!
4) On my second set of tires
5) Occasionlly adding washer fluid...that's it!!!!
6) TRD air filter - clean it every 2 oil changes.
Best part is that it still get an avg of 29 to 30 mpg highway consistently.

Go tC........

I would hope that at 91K you had the tranny fluid changed a couple times and had several air filters and fuel filters changed. Oh, does the tC need valve adjustments every 40K like the xA/xB?

Agreed.

Spending hard earned money on an un reliable car is no fun.

I don't mean to jack this thread, but around how many miles do you need to get a new set of tires?

That depends on the type of driving you do and how well you maintain your tire pressures.
