Well went to redding and back last weekend, just washed my car and nearly 100 bug marks are still on there, it's not really like dead guts and stuff just left resedue that you would find after washing bird poop, anyways whats a good approach to this? Is it ok to use things such as rubbing alcohol on paint cause i tried just one and it came right off, but i dont want a peeling whole front bumper in like 3 weeks

 

try some turtle wax bug and tar remover

Get them off asap. I had a few bugs on my hood for maybe a week (wash my car once a week) and once removed they ate through and i got little dots where they were, strait to primer.

 

yeah theyve been on for about a week, i came home and had to go to San Diego for a wedding, i think that's why their so platered onto there

 

just wax it? iono i had bug stuff that made the paint less dark than original

also i had window chalk on the body, after washing made the paint lighter as well

2 coats of turtle wax made it go away.

rubbing alcohol is just fine to use so is tar and bug remover.

 

yeah, that bug goo will eat through your paint..
