Default A/C NOISE

When I turn on my a/c it makes a funny noise on the passenger side. Anybody have the same problem.

Myne doesnt make noise but it is warming up...... maybe the same problem..... i need to get it looked at

Maybe it's just the compressor kicking in.

thats what I first thought but now it stays on all the time my a/c is on. Very weird. I will take it back to the dealer soon if I can get a ride to work. :?:

Could also be a piece of debris inside the air duct light enough to be blown around making the noise, but too heavy to actually be blown out of the duct.

You might consider looking in the air filter holder to see if something is stuck in there. Remove the glove compartment by pushing in on each side and pulling out. The whole thing will just pull right out. You'll see the white air box right behind it. Near the upper part you should be able to pull out a tray where an air filter can be place. Look around to see if something might be in there or anywhere else you can reach.
