Creaking Suspension?

Creaking Suspension?
Loud creaking noise when suspension represses, especially going up a drive way at ~45 deg angle. Could it be the axle? Maybe I need new springs/shocks? Steering rack? I have no clue, and I'm stationed in Germany, so trustworthy mechanics are hard to come by..
88000 miles. 90% sure the suspension, etc. is original.
