Default Headlights staying ON problem...

Sup,

My xB just hit 5000 miles and yesterday when I went to turn off the lights the fog lights stayed on. I couldnt get them to turn off.

I had to pop the hood and disconnect one of the headlights for it to shut off.

Anyone know what could cause this and how can I fix it?

Thanks

You don't have a separate fog light switch?

Hmmmmmmm... If connected correctly the fogs should have a separate switch and a relay which allows them only to come on with the low beams. If yours isn't wired like that, that's your problem.

If it *IS* wired that way, per Scion specs, using the built-in factory wiring with the switch on the dash and the relay in the fuse block, then something is energizing the relay when it shouldn't be. Sounds like a short of some sort.

Good Luck!
