i had my car insurance cut down to $147/month. the reason was my broker told the insurance company that i will only be driving the car for 8000 miles/year. so i had to keep my first month's use of the car under 666 miles. the last day for the first month was on the 24th. i took a picture of the odometer that night and it said 597 miles. so i sent the picture to my broker and the next day, he said that the insurance company wants a better proof of documentation. he said get an oil change from toyota. i told him the damn car has only 600 miles and you're telling me get an oil change. i know it sounds ridiculous but is there any other way to get proof that it is lower than 666 miles? let me know asap thanks.

just ask the insurance if you have any auto check place around your houset to let them know that you really have 600 miles on it... or tell them to call the dealer and check your record themself.... stupid insurance will do anything to bump out your bills... anyway when i purchased my car used.. i went to pepboy to check the status on mycar to prove it to the insurance.. may be your pepboys does that too

 

i called firestone near my place and this guy said that he will do a complete checkup for $20. i guess that is my last option since he said that he will give me a print out of the mileage i have on my car. thanks for the help.
