How to bust a CV joint?

So, i was wondering if it is possible to bust a CV joint by hitting an extremely bad pothole at 50mph.
this is bad, so far, ive had the knuckle, control arms, bearings, and hub assembly replaced. everything on the front drivers suspension side was replaced except the axle.
Now im hearing a clicking sound when i drive slow and turn. The sound isnt always present, but when its there, its pretty loud.
Is it possibly i busted a CV joint? I really hope not.

I crashed into an island at around 30 mph to avoid hitting a deer.. Busted control arm, cracked bumper cover, ball joint, and my strut was bent.. Same thing I hear a clicking noise sometimes.... I'm not sure what to tell you...

Yep, a clicking from the front wheels is usually an indication of a failing CV joint.
First thing you want to do is figure out which side the noise is coming from and inspect the CV boots. There's two CV joints, inner and outer, on each side...so that's 4 total. Make sure the boots do not have any tears or rips in them. A tell tale sign of this is finding grease thrown on the under-body.
If the boots aren't damaged, you'll have to remove the clips and visually inspect them for wear/damage. I highly recommend letting someone experienced look at it.
Worse comes to worse, you'll have to replace the CV joint or the drive shaft half shaft...

ok, went to the shop today, and got it fixed in about 2 seconds. The black piece behind the rotor was rubbing up against the back of the rotor. It was pushed about a few centimeters and now the car rides and drives like brand new.
Thank god, now ill be able to sleep tonight.

Well at first it started as a clicking sound, and then it changed into a high shriek sound, so i thought it may have been my rotors rubbing against my pads. But when i checked it, it was that damn guard. WOOHOO!
