Default New to ScionLife.. Couple of Problems

So, i just bought a 2006 tC with only 110,000 miles, its amazing. But i do have a few problems, my radiator fan comes on way too often, and when it does, it is really loud and causes the car to shake while idling. Then there is one thing that i have no idea what the issue is, there is a whistle when accelerating, almost like a supercharger noise, the harder you accelerate, the louder the noise. Any ideas?

Your fan won't make the car shake at idle. Sounds like you are confusing it for an engine accessory that kicks on like a/c or something.

As far as the whistle, did it come with an intake or is there the stock air box on it? Does the whistle match speed or rpms? If it's speed, it's probably a wheel bearing. If it's with rpms, then it's probably a pulley bearing going bad.

a/c is almost always off when it happens, if a/c is on when whatever it is turns on, makes it louder and shaking more violent. And the whistle matches rpms, so yeah probably a pulley bearing.

There is a dent in the front end, i was thinking maybe the impact damaged the radiator in some way

it looks small, but there is some stuff hanging, and the grill was pushed in a little
