tC Caliper Problems
I have owned my 07 Scion tC for 3 years now and during my ownership, I've had to replace the calipers 3 or 4 times due to them "locking-up" or "sticking."
I'm worried I own a malfunctioning car. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something my mechanic can do to solve the issue?

Your calipers seizing or "going bad" have nothing to do with your car. They seize from the boots/seals cracking and letting moisture etc in. I doubt they'd be going bad that often. Do you always use the same mechanic? I'd maybe take my car somewhere else or get a second opinion the next time they tell you you need a new caliper. He might be telling you you need work done that you don't. Or.. he might be telling the truth and you're just a very unlucky person.
