Default Traction control turned on

Driving home last night. Making a right turn. While shifting into second, it felt like the clutch slipped.. almost as if it didn't grab all the way. Car felt as if I let off the gas. I let go of the steering wheel to finsh up my turn, and the car kept turning in the direction it was pointed in. The traction control light was flashing the entire 2-3 seconds. I always knew how it worked, just never experienced it before. Is that normal. The ground wasn't wet/slippery. hmmmmmmmm

:D

Thanks! Coming from the DSM, anything that didn't sound/feel right... usually meant something broke.
