I just waxed my girl friend's car, an 04 SE-R with the NXT liquid wax and it turned out pretty good. Everybody's paint is cheap. I'm going to hit mine up in the near future with it. It goes on nicely, then comes off easily. Smells like strawberries, go figure.

Overall, I'd say its a good wax.

EDIT: I wouldn't pay the $$$ for meguiar's stuff. I use some microfiber towels I got from target.

I just recently did my phantom grey xA and my wife's solar yellow xB with Meguiars NXT liquid wax. I'm very happy with the results. It goes on easy, comes off easy, smells great and leaves a nice, slippery shine. I'll buy another bottle when this one is empty.
*edit* I forgot to mention...I put it on with the applicator pad it comes with, and removed it with blue microfiber towels from Wal-Mart.

I use it and like it. The benefit of polish/wax is to make the car easier to wash of bug spots.

I have not found anything that really lasts longer than this wax/polish product

to your question-- why don't peeps answer questions?

but is it neccessary 2 use meguiars terry cloth and microfibers with their products??

no, young brother it is not necessary. Meguires does two things by the warning:

-sell more products
-prevent morons who might use a gritty shop rag to apply, from _____ing that the wax swirled their paint.

readers: just work clean, make that wax/wipe cloth grit-free. MF clothes do work very well and now they are all I use for washing, waxing and drying.

Advance Auto Parts (in CA? I doubt it) sell a no-name MF cloth pack of three (one yellow, two blue) for six bucks. These are as good as any I've tried.

In this thread here I tested a bunch of Microfiber Cloth.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=58552

My results thus far is that name brand products tend to be better then the generic
Walmart stuff, but the best buy and my current favorite *inexpensive* MF cloth
is the Sam's Club bulk pack called Detailers Best. Since Sam's and Walmart are
owned by the same people, some Walmarts carry the Detailers Best. That's my
recommendation. At Sam's you can get an 18 pack for $10!! I LOVE THEM!

As for NXT, in this thread I put NXT Tech Wax (Liquid) up against my $62 jar of
Zymol Titanium:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=68679

The results? NXT was easier to use, and gives almost as good of results as the
$62 Zymol. It's only been a few days, so longevity is still up in the air as it stands.
I'm comfortable recommending the NXT products! The glass cleaner, wash, and now
the wax are regular parts of my detailing kit. I still use Zymol wax and Detail spray
though, I've really grown to love the depth that true Carnuba gives you.

As for HOW TO wash and wax your car, and properly use these products, I highly
recommend you check out these videos from Adams Polishes. While the Adams
Polishes are GREAT products, you don't *have* to use them. The Videos though are
worth their weight in gold, as the methods used are VERY sound.

I hope that helps out some!

I bought the liquid wax first and was pretty happy with it. After that ran out I tried the paste wax and liked the results better. Using a microfiber makes a difference. I tend to use a name brand.

What's the difference between the Tech Wax and Tech Wax Paste? I'm assuming the Tech Wax is just a liquid therefore "easier"?

We use the Meguiars NXT wash for the tC, IS300 and Solara. Works great! You don't really need "their" cloths. We usually get all our microfibers from pakshak.com.

I just bought NXT tech wax paste and it's very dry.
I used turtle paste wax before and it was not as dry as this.
Tech wax paste is so dry that it has a ring of crack in it.
Is this normal? Can someone who used it tell me?
I am going to exchange this if there is something wrong with the one I have.
