I was reminded about previous transmission work and on the 1st car I ever really worked on I didn't have a shop crane and I didn't or couldn't afford a 100 dollar support.
I made my own LOL. It worked pretty good good holding up the old 3800.
I think you could scale down one for an xB maybe with 1x1s instead of 4x4s LOL use 2x2s to keep it safe.

 

That's awesome! I too, made my own from scrap laying around. This was to replace rod-bearings on my track car.
