Default Maybe a repost but I thought this was really cool

I remember meeting the girl in this video and a couple other in her group, wish i had met this guy though. I think Scion owers represented very well in this video by offering money before he even asked and were a very good audience. He is a really good street performer and I appreciate people like this a lot more than the ones that just ask for money and do nothing.

I caught in the end that he has brain cancer or something, thats sad cuz he seems to be a good entertainer. I'm glad someone was able to capture this on there video camera while this was going on.

I don't believe that he had brain cancer. I am the guy on the right side of the video. I belive he was just an everyday street performer

That's a very offensive name for the Scion Community IMHO.

Sounds Like a personal problem, and your the person with the problem!

It is a group of people that had a little too much fun in Miami. If you were not there you cant understand.

No but I can understand the fact that many people get killed by drunk drivers everyday. I personally think for one your group name looks closely related to SADD (Sisters Against Drunk Driving). It is ignorant on your part.

You have taken this personally in the wrong way. This is in no way a group made up on idiots that do not know their limits (When it comes to driving) that get absolutley tanked and then drive in their Scions thinking they are invincible. We all understand that Drunken driving is one of the most irresponsible things a person can do.

We are a group of well respected (Most of us) Scion owners who have the best of intentions and had a fun time in Miami. This is a simple group of people that know how to party and want to keep in touch and hey the name sounded harmless.

Now that covers the group and its background/ reasoning, you however did not understand this and therefore made yourself the ignorant one. Instead of jumping to the offensive next time do your research or ask about the group/ topic. This will give you a better understanding over time plus make you more knowledgable when it does come down to a debate/ argument. You have given insight to how the name can be percieved and it might not be the BEST thing to have on your Scion however are you going to pick a fight or argument that with each and everyperson that has any type of rude, cruel, insensitive, dead baby joke bumper sticker on their car? In that case " How big'a boy are ya?"

You don't know me. you don't know the people I know that have been killed by drunk drivers. You don't know the sensitivity of the subject in my "own little world". You know nothing. I stand up for something I believe to be disgraceful like your group's name, and the fact that I don't stand up and fight for other things that makes it OK for you to cut me down and act like a bigot?

Honestly jsa3mm i don't believe the name of their group is no where related to them being too drunk to drive. It would be like "wasted Ford truck drivers forum", i would expect that site to be for a bunch of drunk rednecks that love their ford trucks but not necessarily that their driving wasted and typing on a forum at the same time.

I am totally against drunk driving as well and become very aggravated myself when i hear about someone doing that and putting others peoples lives in danger, i feel it to be very irresponsible. Miami was a blast and there was no drinking and driving involved since we could walk or had a shuttle everywhere and open bars twice to us. I commend your stance on this subject but feel that you're directing it in the wrong direction and would say that BoiseAuctioneer and his group name is in no way trying to make light of, make fun of, or promote drinking and driving.

That being said I feel that this thread is getting off topic and would hate to see it locked because it IS a cool vid that others should get a chance to see. If you would like to continue the debate on drinking and driving I would ask that you create another thread for it in off topic and even post a link to it in this thread if you like so that the converstion can continue but just not continue in this thread.

Thats my .02

MTcX, let's not forget the glorification of alcoholism the group's name is presenting. It's a life wrecking disease.

I apologize for going so far off-topic. Everyone please enjoy the video.
