Scion At South Beach THANK YOU LETTERS TO SCION HQ
 

If you all are like me, you were probably on your way home from SOUTH BEACH, thinking:

"gawd that was awesome, do i wanna trade in?? i dunno, i love my scion, but that XB/XD was awesome! Scionis such an amazing company to do all that for us.... I SHOUDL SEND THEM A THANK YOU NOTE!"

Well so i contacted Michael Kennedy, of Southeast Toyota Distributors (he's one of my dear freinds, and he was there at the event) and I told him how much I appreciated everything and that i was sure that i could speak behalf of the whole Scion community when i say THANK YOU. then i told him about the idea of doing a huge thank you note gathering. after we recieve the thank you notes and cards we can gather them up and send them to SCION HQ!

of course, he loved the idea!!!!

No other car company does what SCION does for us (the consumers). so in return we should do something for SCION that no other consumer does for any other ar company. This would be a bigger REWARD for SCION than an award or trophy from JD POWER AND ASSOCIATES, or CONSUMER REPORTS. A real collection of THANK YOU NOTES from thier consumers would be the best gift ever.

Scion has given us sooooo much. I really want to give back. so this is my idea, Michael agrees that this would be awesome! SO LETS DO IT!!!

the other idea was that after we receive the letters and cards, that we make a collage out of them - frame it so they can hang it on a wall in the main office building at SCION HQ. !

This is a great idea... I mentioned something almost exactly like this in a thread a few weeks ago but it got deleted (freaking unbelievable what goes on here sometimes).

why the heck did it get deleted....??? if this gets deleted then soemoen has no heart!!! yea i mentioned this idea to michael right after we left HIN and headed back home to Orlando... it has just taken us THIS LONG to figure out a game plan. sorry for the delay!!!

also i think Michael wants to take these letters and notes to CHICAGO for the PUBLIC REVEAL of the xB and xD and give it to the big wigs there!!!!!! so these must be in the mail by JANUARY 20th!!!

I saw Mike Kennedy there and I wanted to say hello but for some reason I didnt get a chance. Anyway, I will definately be sending the most awesome thank you note ever!

i work very close with KENNEDY, talking to him on a daily basis.... He is now an offical scion owner also. I have been printing out pic (good ones 2) to take to chicago for this reason.....

Just to clear things up, the deleted topic was removed because the original poster deleted all their posts due to some negativity in the thread, then the OP PM'd me to delete the topic. I complied, as this is not an uncommon request from the original poster.

It IS a good idea, and I will be sending mine in.

hey brandy - michael and i have an idea as soon as we get the letters and cards in - since you work so close to michael and you and i are strong in the scion community too - if ya wanna help out let me know!!!

IF snail mail isn't your thing (cause it sure aint mine) I am willing to receive emails from anyone who wants to send it a "Thank You Letter" for this. You can send me pictures or what ever moves you and want to thank scion for it..

You know, I went to type something up earlier. I planned on printing it out and signing it, but that does not carry with it the personality and effort that a handwritten note does. I am writing mine, pardon the handwriting :)

yes i agree - PLEASE SEND HAND WRITTEN NOTES ONLY

after an interview it is highly suggested to send a hand written thank you card to the person who interviewed you - this carries really well and is a very highly respectful effort to thank someone... so i suggest had writing.

thank you Brandy for offering that, you are so sweet to do so... maybe they can send you their favorite pictures from the event and we can ad those in the bundle! that would be a good idea!!!
