Default Any OG's left on this site?

I haven't been on here in a while, occasional post every now and then. Just seeing if there's any OG's still left?
Joined back in 05 when i bought my tC and still have it. I see tcpete, HKSpeed, Ro_Ja, yellowx and Jon still lurk around here, anyone else?

Still rocking the HID retro too but plan on selling the car sometime in 2013. Looking for a 2010 Lexus IS350 or 2010 BMW 328i.

Wow. I was a super here til I sold the tC. It's weird to see 15 people in off topic. Is Tomas still wreaking havoc?

TheQuietThings, was it you who was too young to go on the FL trip?

I just remember there was one mod who was too young to go on the trip. I had already abdicated my throne before being invited to see the new models in FL. I'd already been reassigned.

Whats up dog? Long time no talk. I do have to apologize for some of the jabs back and forth we used to have.

Personally, I have moved on to 8thcivic.com - I guess I didn't tell people what happened to me here, but ill tell my tale.

I bought an 07 tC in 2006. Dropped LOTS of coin into it. Should of listened to everyone when they were dissing the S/C. Went through 2 brand new motors, 3 superchargers, 3 cat converters, 2 clutches. All within under 25,000 miles. I had every TRD piece that was ever put out for our cars.

TRD S/C, TRD shocks/struts/springs, TRD strut/sway bar, TRD clutch/LSD, TRD quick shifter kit, TRD BBK, TRD 18's, Oem bodykit, RS3 tails, RS1 grill, RS5 TRD floor mats, ect ect. You name it, I had it.

Anyways, I sued Toyota and won, for ALL of my money back, minus $2000 for mileage. (I got to remove ALL of my TRD parts, minus the clutch/LSD, too much of a hassle and wasn't worth it to try and sell used).

In the meantime I had a back up beater car (which, wasn't a beater.. it was a prime condition 2003 Honda SI (EP3, hatchback). After I got rid of the scion, I was down to one car (and 2 SuperSport Honda 1000cc streetbikes).

Well, this year, the day AFTER Super Bowl - I was hit by a drunk driver in my SI. I was at a redlight, STOPPED completely, my co-worker was in his charger in front of me - and this guy in a Toyota Tacoma truck,
hit me in the rear at at least 45mph (he never even hit his brakes) and pushed me into my coworker. The car was totaled and they gave me $3000 more than I paid for it, AND I got to take off all my performance parts
(turbo, rims, suspension, Mugen wing, retro HID projectors, stereo, KPRO (engine management) and lots of other bits.

SOOOOO now I got a 2008 Civic SI coupe in black, 35,000 miles on it - bone stock.

So far I have added: HFP rims, HFP suspension, HFP exhaust, FlashPro (engine management), Berk HFC, Mishimoto carbon intake, Mugen quick shift kit, StopTech brakes front/back, OEM foglights, NGK plugs.

Once I get my settlement from suing the douche that tried to run me over, I will be buying the Rotrex S/C setup - good for an EASY 340hp all day long. There are tons of other options, CompTech, Jackson both make S/C's for it, and then there is the turbo crowd.

All I can say is I love my 9300 rpm rev limit, power kicks in at 4300 with a lowered V-Tec engagement point with Flashpro. Factory rev limit is 8300. I love having a 6th gear. The seats are also awesome.

So I am not going to turn into one of those guys that hates on toyota, I still have much love. If the BRZ/FRS would have more power, I would buy one right now. As it is, I am waiting until they at least bump it to 225hp factory, OR see what the S/C
(TRD and S/C?.. wasn't impressed last time) or the "STI" versions have to offer. I would even consider a convert, like the spy shots I have seen. The FRS/BRZ offers a SEXY looking drop top. I am also in love with the "Scion 10 series FRS".
Great color, limited edition, and pretty sweet add-ons compared to stock.

I also still have my beast 08 Honda CBR1kRR making 165hp, and is actually too fast for me. The midrange on that bike is just insane.

Anyways, just wanted to share my story since I haven't posted on SL in a long time. Hope all you guys are doing well. Last week was my first time going to the gym in two months. That guy really f'd up my back and neck, and I was out of work for 3 weeks or so.
Needless to say, my personal injury lawyer will make this dude pay big time for the damage he caused me, missed time from work, physical therapy 3 days a week, lots of pain meds, and the fact that this is the guys 2nd DUI in 4 years, means he WILL be spending time in the clink.
