Default April Scion Life Tee Shirt Design Contest

Ok guys, all of the Scion Life Tee Shirt entries have been saved and sorted and three winners have been chosen. Things definitely didn't turn out the way I thought, one person won ALL THREE prizes, instead of three different winners. In the end it wasn't a hard choice, though. The winning entries definitely deserved the blue ribbon.

Check out the winning illustrations, as entered by signalxB:

All entries have been sorted and displyed here:

ORIGINAL POST >>>>
OK guys -- the last two contests have been about creating Scions from scratch. This month's contest is all about Scion Life. We need some new tee-shirt designs, one for each model. The xA and tC owners have had the short end of the stick and our xB design is just about sold out.

This month you MUST create your design on the computer and it MUST be submitted as a high-res photo (at least 1024x76. Your image will be for the back of the tee shirt, so please remember that most designs are taller than they are wide (portrait style, not landscape style). The front of the tee shirt will feature the ScionLife logo, so don't worry about that.

You can use this image of the Scion Life logo to help your design:
www.scionlife.com/misc/scionlifelogo.jpg

By posting your photo you are allowing us to use it at our discretion, in this case for the tee shirt and promotion for the tee. Your photo MUST NOT contain any other logos, watermarks or trademarked products or else we can't use it.

ONE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN FOR EACH MODEL: xA, xB and tC!

YOUR IMAGE WILL BE USED ON THE NEXT SCION LIFE TEE SHIRTS!

Post your image as a reply in this thread or email it to: admin@scionlife.com and I will post it for you.

-=PRIZE=-
The prize for this month's contest is your choice of the following:
- A Hotchkis lowering spring kit for your Scion model courtesy of www.hotchkistuning.com
- A Tanabe Strut Tower Bar for your tC or xA/xb courtesy of www.tanabe-usa.com
- An AudioFormz fiberglass xB subwoofer enclosure courtesy of www.audioformz.com
- An OEM Scion Red Leather xA/xB Steering wheel courtesy of www.scionevolution.com
- An OEM Scion xB-Plus Security System courtesy of www.scionevolution.com
- A set of OEM xA factory fog lights courtesy of www.scionevolution.com
- A one-year Premium Membership to Scion Life with Prize Pack ($125 value)
- A set of notebook-bound Scion Service Manuals for an xA or xB ($100+ value)
- A notebook-bound Toyota Service Manuals for a 2000 Echo ($100 value)

-=RULES=-
- Images must be of sufficient size to read writing, etc
- YOUR SCION LIFE SCREEN NAME MUST BE INCLUDED ON IT
- You may enter as many times as you wish

-=JUDGING=-
As always I am the sole judge and my decision is final. Since the design of this is crucial to promoting Scion Life I am going to choose based on design skill and execution.

The contest will end at midnight on April 30th.

Well, I came up with a good idea. But it uses all three models. I'm going to post it anyway, just so people can see what i was thinking, whether it qualifies for the contest or not.

How about a model neutral shirt?

What can I say? It's late, I've been sick for five days and I'm tired.

What are your limits in regards to the amount of different colors used? Would you prefer just one or do you encourage whatever? Thanks.

Heres a crazy idea for everyone who wants to enter the contest, Why dont you post smaller versions of your designs in here with an external link for full-res shots. This thread could get out of hand pretty quick.

Alright, here's my first try:

Draft 1: >>HERE<<

Draft 2: >>HERE<<

Think of Draft 2 as when you're out somewhere and everybody seems to be staring at you and your "Lexus."

if these are going to be good shirts and not just printed on(cause the fade like crazy) than you can't really do color fading like that or it cost a whole lot more, just my input, my sister is a t-shirt designer so i'll get her to enter

Is this being printed as a process color or spot color? And will it be screenprint?
