Default bye bye Scion

Well, I’ve had the new car bug for a while now. Getting older and out of the import scene, though still taking care of the maint. on mycar and trying to keep it clean. It was time for an upgrade. My fiancé said I needed to get rid of the toy L.She was with me when I bought it brand new, June 2005. The original owner, only had 58k miles, changed the oil myself from the start, a few new tire sets, brake pads, some upgrades in suspension, of course my HID Retrofit that I LOVED and hated seeing go (didn’t want to take the time to remove them, the purchase kind of snuck up on me). I needed something more comfortable, reliable, andsafe (I have 2 baby nieces I like to drive around with and take them places).

Here she is… 2013 Ford F150 Ecoboost w/ Appearance Package. TWIN TURBO! The interior on this thing is sick, so luxurious. Leather w/ alacantra heated/cooling seats and red piping. Dual climate control, My Ford Sync with navigation & Sirius XM radio, Bluetooth, rear back up camera w/ nightvision, leather wrapped steering wheel with red stitching, tons of other cool features that obviously I never had on the Scion. BIG upgrade for me and I lovedriving it. Got it for a great price, end of year pricing on 2013 models plus some. I work with dealerships at work (Loan Officer) so I got a pretty good deal on this one.

Hey welcome to the F150 family! Love my F150. Yea no boost here but my 5.0 does haul butt with my tunes! I should be running 0-60 sub 6 sec with just a 87 tune and closer to 5.5-5.6 on the 93 tune. Figured id get in too much trouble with a truck that fast! Thats what my project car will be for. If you are interested in tuning that thing and running low 13's tune only let me know. Got a guy running a 13.2 tune only and others at 13.3-13.4 tune only. Should see 12's soon though. The place also sells performance parts and other things. We also have our own forum!

thanks! I love this truck! so much technology I missed with the scion. I also love the power and low end torque. coming from a small 4cyl in the scion, this thing is sweet. i'm going to leave her stock, not messing with the engine right now. the only thing I've done is change all the LEDs. going to be changing the puddle lights to LEDs and make a blinker out of the reflector on the side mirror. bought a matching lower grill for the intercooler from Boostbars.com. matches perfect.

Must be nice, I really love that trucm. I'm getting tired of pumping the clutch in traffic everyday. That and I'm 6' 2".... just 7 more payments til I can upgrade. Post up some mods if and when you get around to it. That strip has grown a little on me and IMO if the wheels matched the stripe colors it would bring it together a little.
