Default Cellphones

I'm with T-Mobile currently but my contract ended (woohoo!) and lately I haven't been too happy with them. Or it might be my phone screwing up, the T-Mobile Wing. Anyways... I'd like to switch to a different provider but not sure who. Used to be with Verizon but switched to T-Mobile because of the better phones, but now T-Mobile seems to have the not so good phones anymore!

So... obviously Verizon has better coverage, phone quality though? How are they? Not looking in to Sprint but unless they've become better. Cingular... not sure about them anymore. T-Mobile... maybe. Dunno.

Whats your opinion?

I just picked up a new phone with Verizon and love it.

I got the Motorola W755(or something like that) for $80. Great, basic phone. Check it out.

If your want a real nice phone: The Samsung Glyde. That thing is nice.

Well with the iPhone you can't do MMS texting and I do that every once in a while so.. I'd like to have that instead of kicking myself when a new version comes out 6mos later.

The Wing is a PDA styled phone and its really nice because of the Windows Mobile on it. Does anyone have a phone like that but smaller? I was thinking a black(crack)berry, but I don't need something that heavy duty.

I know I can go on Howard Forums and find out there but.. I like SL peoples more! :D

My wife has one. I love it. Too bad hers is pink, or I would steal it for myself.

cingular is with att , verizon just bought alltel i hear that metro pc's runs off the verizon service i was about to get the blackberrt pearl from t-mobil but i checked my bank satement and noticed i was charged 2x so eeehh i took it back..my buddy has a a blackbeery pearl with unlimted evrything for 100 bucks from sprint..at&t-cing will charge you a extra 35 fee to have a black beery on top of your regular service fee so if ya wanted a unlimted from at&t it would cost 99 plus 35 ..sprint would be best if ya want unlimted evrything on a blackbeeryprearl..

I've never had any problems w/ Sprint either-- I was actually looking to upgrade to the Blackberry pearl myself- but I didn't want to pay the extra $39 a month for the data plan (I figured since gas prices are raping me I could use that extra $40 a month and just stick with a basic phone like the Upstage) lol
