Default DONT DRINK STARBUCKS COFFEE !!!!!

Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to
let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they
send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines
thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not
support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops
their brand of coffee.

So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by
buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open. I
know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't
mean we don't support the men and women on the ground fighting street -to-street and
house-to-house.

If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can
discard it and no one will never know.

Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I
deploy once more.

Semper Fidelis.

1st Plt PLT

PLEASE DON'T DELETE THIS . ALLOW IT TO BE
PASSED TO ALL IN MEMORY OF ALL THE TROOPS WHO HAVE DIED SO THAT WE MAY HAVE
THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO SUPPORT THEM OR NOT! ! !

Also, don't forget that when the Twin Trade Towers were hit the fire
fighters and rescue workers went to Starbucks because it was close by for water for
the survivors and workers and Starbucks charged them! ! !

JUST A NOTE TO THIS; STARBUCKS HAD STORES ON SEVERAL MILITARY BASES IN THE UNITED STATES. THEY ARE NOW BEING REMOVED BECAUSE OF THIS. GO GET 'EM AMERICA . STAND-UP FOR OURSELVES!

When I was deployed various companies used to send us stuff all the time. Most of them didn't agree with the war either but they supported the troops. Starbucks can shove their ridiculously priced coffee up their a$$e$.

Funny, not really, please feel free to boycott any store you want, but the truth is, this is false.

From snopes.com read for yourself
http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/starbucks.asp

I support the troops, as well as the truth, and the starbucks thing is just a lie.

Feel free by the way to support other coffee companies if you like, did you know Caribou Coffee is owned by First Islamic Investment bank?

Wellllll
I don't like Starbucks coffee anyways.
There's this place in my town called Scooters, I think there's 2 in the Austin area.
Delicious.
Almost every night I go there.

But yeah, I was never fond of the whole starbucks company in general.
Look up the history if you don't know it. Interesting.

I would suggest that everyone who reads this visit the website letssaythanks.com and send a free card to the troops. Xerox will print the e-card out and send it to the troops overseas. With this being the holidays, now is a great time to thank the people who perserve the freedoms our country enjoys. This can be done even if you dont support the war. These soldiers are our sons, daughters, mothers fathers, siblings, family and friends. Many are onely and miss home. I have a friend in Afghanistan who I regulary send dvds and videos of recent tv shows. Can you at least send a card?

I like starbucks..... But what they did was jacked. Its not the troops fault. Sure they don't have to support the war but they can atleast support the people who are fighting so starbucks can freely captilize ther coffee oneday in the middle east!

Oznium, I love your products and have bought from you in the past, but, respectfully, read the whole thread. i provided a link to snopes that shows this is false. I dont drink coffe, own a starbucks, or have any vested interest other than seeing the truth come out. You wouldn't want someone saying your company did something like this and having everyone just believe it.

Seriously back up your information with facts, before slamming the company. Get your facts straight.
