Well, I get most mine from cigarsinternational cause it fits my budget. And personally, I really like the Vegas 5 classic and many of the gurkah blends! (except the expedition). I just got some gurkah black puros and I like them alot. Nothing compared to ashton, VSG or montecristo platinums, but good for a dialy smoke.
About local shops, there are at least 3 here in Vegas owned by fuente, so no fear of fakes there. In fact, casa fuente in the forum shops (the only place you can still smoke in any mall!) has a custom house blend only sold in that shop!
Anyway...I'm glad I found this thread!

Ashton VSG=Fuente Opus X...been to the A.Fuente original factory store in Ybor City.still don't understand that Gurkha thing.....they seem to have a hint of sawdust and sneaker inner sole with a creamy white show lace finish...I rather go with some other choices at that price point
