I thought this was just a youth hip/hop or goth/metal thing.

Now I am told it's more maintstream, but some of it icks me out.
I'm fine for small hoops through the eyebrows, and even the metal dot through the chin, but nose side studs, nose bullrings, and upper lip metal stud thing make women look nasty to me. especially the upper lip "beauty mark" post, i think it's tacky.

what you think?

It obviously depends on the person.

Some people look good with certain piercings others with others, etc etc

My friend had a stud out of her chin below her lips, eyebrow, and nose. She looked good with the nose only. Without it she looked weird.

depends. it can look really cute sometimes, but it's pretty easy to end up looking like something out of hellraiser. i can't wait to see someone with a bone through their nose.

hope this isn't a threadjack, and if it is let me know and i'll kill this post, but i think a more interesting question is how guys feel about "body jewelry." you know what i'm talking about. forget the normal belly button piercing. i'm talking about the crazy piercings. personally, i dig it.

imho, the only things that should be pierced are ears, and not the whole ear like some like to do it.. im talking about hte normal 1 piercing on each ear.

it is just one of those things.

a girl either can or can't rock a piercing and look good with it. it all depends on skin complextion, hair color, nose shape, etc. but even then they have to walk a straight line between tasteful and senseless.

Anything can look good on the right person. I'm all for it, but moderation is the key. I don't personally like the eyebrow, but a lip piercing gets me everytime...

What about glasses... I know a lot of girls who don't want to wear them, but, as far as I'm concerned, glasses are a big thumbs up in my book.

I'd rather that they just kept it to the ears. Not a fan of the nose rings, the REALLY fugly ones are when the girl gets that "bull piercing" or "snout ring" as I call it, the one that goes through the middle part of the nose. YUK!

I'm not a fan of the "Monroe" piercings, lip piercings, or eyebrow piercings. They get in the way and I accidentally caught my ex's eyebrow ring a few times and damn near pulled it out while trying to get her naked.

DEFINITELY not a fan of nipple or "below the belt" piercings either. Just my personal preference...

Thats not really jacking the thread as I see a nice pair of glasses as a part of the overall facial jewelry.

I love the few girls who can sport the black rimmed glasses. That whole innocent/studious gets me so gigity.
